Sick of the standard of debate in Question Time? Reckon you could do better than the predictable Dorothy Dixers put to the floor by politicians? Now it's your turn.
Crikey.com.au and OurSay are giving you the opportunity to get your question asked in House of Representatives.
Each week Crikey.com.au will feature a new reader's question, and will look into the where/how and why of the issue and the politics behind it. So, think of a question specific and relevant a minister or issue. Get your friends, family and colleagues to vote for it. One of the most popular questions will be taken all the way to Parliament House.
A Member of Parliament has agreed to take part in this OurSay initiative and take the People’s Question to Question Time. The name of the member will be announced after voting closes. Due to the nature of parliament, there is no guarantee that the question can be asked, although every effort will be made to do so.
