The People's Question
In February, Crikey.com.au and OurSay gave you the opportunity to get your question asked in House of Representatives through a secret MP.
Crikey.com.au featured a new reader's question each week, and looked at where/how and why of the issue.
After voting closed, it was revealed the secret MP was Adam Bandt, the member for Melbourne. He plans to take the top question on the OurSay site (which is about end-of-life decision-making) into parliament house on Wednesday the 14th of March. Stay tuned to our website, Facebook page and Twitter for updates.
Fantastic question. Fabian's are not about democracy at all, they're all about trying to gradually change the people!
The issue of memberships of philosophical organisations and freemasonry applies to all members of parliament in an open society!
Members of Government or Parliament?
What an odd question. Why would the Fabians worry you? It's a pretty middle of the road think-tank.
Both are basically 'secret societies' with ulterior motives which conflict with democratic principles. Fabian Socialism seeks wealth distribution, aka theft by taxation, to enable their philosophies of a Godless Utopian society, dependent wholly on government for their sustenance and happiness. North Korea comes to mind. Freemasonry is a quasi-religious secret society founded on 'secret knowledge' and bizarre curses the member pronounces on themselves and their family to four generations if they ever divulge these 'secrets.' Freemasons are obliged to 'help out' all other Freemasons. This can also include using preferential treatment for government contracts, or magistrates or judges finding in favour or giving preferential treatment for their Freemason comrades.
