Want to be part of Hepburn Shire's journey to zero-net emissions?
We want to hear how you, the residents of Hepburn Shire, currently use energy in your homes! How can the community as a whole manage the transition to renewable sources and zero-net emissions?
To help create a meaningful community profile the first step is to take the household survey.
Hepburn Shire was successful in being selected to be the Z-NET pilot for Victoria under the Sustainability Victoria Take2 Community Transitions Pilot
Join the Community Advisory Panel (CAP)
Helping to guide the process, the CAP will be a group of community representatives who will come together to learn about the Z-NET Hepburn Shire program, what current strategies and opportunities exist; and to develop and recommend a set of goals and priorities for the Community Transition Plan.
The Solar & Z-NET Open House events are a great opportunity to learn about the ‘big-picture’ project to get our Shire powered by renewables, attend a free information session about the new community solar and battery bulk-buy and share your ideas on options to achieve carbon neutrality.
There will be stallholders to discuss the Hepburn Solar Bulk-Buy, Z-NET community transition plan, your electricity bill, financing options for solar and batteries, business, home and farm energy audit information.
