Community Consultation and Engagement

Consultation is important to help Council understand community views on a wide range of topics.

Topics include localised issues through to planning for the future needs of the whole municipality.

Council consults and engages with the community in many ways. Consultations will be available below on this page and the City of Whitehorse website.

You can also get notifications of new consultations by subscribing to Your Say Whitehorse. You will need to follow two steps:

Step 1: Register an account with the Our Say platform

• If you have already registered, go to Step 2
• This will allow you to respond to all engagement projects

• Click on 'Register to get involved' button below
• Click on 'Create an account here' (under the log in screen)
• Complete your details and click 'Join Now'
• Go to your 'Welcome to OurSay' email
• Click on the 'Confirm your account to get started' link
• Sign in to your account

Step 2: Subscribe to get notifications of Whitehorse City Council community engagement projects on Your Say Whitehorse

• Go to Your Say Whitehorse 
  • Make sure you have registered using the steps above
• Login on top right of the page (if you are not already logged in)
• Click on the 'Subscribe to Whitehorse City Council' button below
